I know my posting of late has been quite horrendous, if I do say so myself, but my confidence is on the way up and I think it is time to start sharing my words with you all again. There has been so much happening, I was just finding it extremely hard to get my words and woes out there. Now it is time to change and to share with you all. So please bare with me and I will do my utmost to keep this updated for you all.

Wait For Me
How long will you wait for me?
I’m sure my time is running out
You know you’re the one I desire
My heart is empty without you
It yearns to be united as one
I’m sure my time is running out
You know you’re the one I desire
My heart is empty without you
It yearns to be united as one
I’ll come running to you
As soon as my feet find their way
You’ve waited now for some time
To wrap your arms around me
So promise me this, you’ll wait for me.
As soon as my feet find their way
You’ve waited now for some time
To wrap your arms around me
So promise me this, you’ll wait for me.

Thought of the Week
Nothing holds greater power over the body than the benefits contained in the mind.
A Witch's Confession
I have come to terms with my destiny
Even though it is you who chose it for me
What made you turn against me?
When I only ever showed you love
You’ve listened to the words of others
But ignored what your heart truly knew
If I have ever caused anyone harm
Then take my soul from me now
Do I look like the Witch I am meant to be?
Or am I the person you chose to love?
Neither matters to you now
You are doing what you have to do
Before my destiny finally comes to end
I wish to make one last confession to all
Yes I believe the Wicca ways
And all that is said in the Witch’s Creed
I have never cast a spell of evil
But gave you all love and good health
My seed has been planted
But to whom you will never know
You’ve all cast your own spell now
That will send me straight to the depths of hell
But listen closely, as you’ll hear my haunting cries
On the eve you took my life away.

It's In His Kiss
There is a lot to be said with this particular line of a song. It certainly rang true for me a few years ago.
The chemistry had been there for years, and we both knew it, he was 10 years older than me, but age is nothing especially when the feelings are mutual. He is sweet, kind, extremely good looking and whenever we would see each other we would just look into each other's eyes and everything else around us would become blurry.
He kept saying, "if you really believe it, it will happen", "be careful for what you wish for" and "follow your heart". The same applied to him. For some reason there was always a wall between us, neither of us knew why. I gave him a lift one night to a different pub to where he normally went, but instead of getting out off the car straight away like his friends, he leaned over and put his hand on my face and gently pulled me towards him and kissed me. It was so soft, it was just like something you only ever see in a film. He stopped, looked into my eyes and kissed me again. He got out of the car and I hadn't even noticed that it had started to rain again. All I could smell was his aftershave, I started to smile, he went his way and I had to sit there for a while soaking up the feelings that were floating around me. I eventually managed to drive home. Until our next encounter, if it ever happened, I could only hope and keep on wishing and believing that it would once again happen to me and I would again get that floating feeling.

Thought of the Week
The creative spirit lurks silently within us. You won't find it by looking but then again you won't find it by not looking. The strange thing is that if you look hard enough your creativity will come and find you.
Our Hero
I see you everyday
Through the eyes of our daughter
She’ll never know her father
But she will see you in her reflection
I tell her stories and show her pictures
She looks at me so proud
She wears your medal on her heart
But guards it with her life
She tells her friends and teachers
“My Daddy’s a hero, but he died in the war”
I know you’ll watch over both of us
If only we could hug you once more
Today is her birthday, six she will be
And the present she wants most is to see you
We have brought a wreath of poppies with a single red rose
With the message, “My Dad, My Hero”
You are a hero to many
Your country, me and our daughter
She grows each day and is the image of yourself
You will never be forgotten, you’re our hero.
